Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal and health information.

This policy explains how Birmingham Men's Health Physiotherapy (part of Harborne Physiotherapy) handles your information. We are the "data controller" for the personal data we hold about you.

You can reach us at Barefoot Yoga, 7 High Street, Harborne, Birmingham B17 9NT, on 07902 389456, or email us.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us (name, phone, email).
  • Health information you share so we can assess and treat you.
  • Standard technical information any website receives, such as your IP address and the pages you visit, which our web host keeps in its server logs to keep the site secure. We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information to provide you with physiotherapy care and to respond to your enquiries. Because health information is sensitive ("special category" data under UK GDPR), we rely on the provisions for the provision of health and social care, alongside your consent where appropriate.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We only share it where necessary for your care or where the law requires it — for example, with your GP or another clinician, with your consent. We use Jane, a secure practice-management system, for online booking, appointments and clinical records. Jane handles this information on our behalf and only as we instruct. If you pay when you book online, the payment is handled securely through Jane, and we never see or store your full card details.

How long we keep it

We keep clinical records for 7 years after your last appointment, in line with professional and legal requirements, and then dispose of them securely.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, ask us to correct it, and in some cases ask us to delete it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Contact

To exercise any of these rights or ask a question about your data, contact us on 07902 389456 or email us.
